High Scalability has a post entitled “Friendster Lost Lead Because of a Failure to Scale”
Well, all I can say is, duh. I was on Friendster and quite clearly remember yelling at my computer: “Friendster.com is way too slow to use; what is up with their tech team?” So I stopped using it. I never used MySpace, but I do use FaceBook.
