The TED BIGVIZ (PDF)

http://images.autodesk.com/adsk/files/ted2008_autodesk__bigviz_book_2008_03_1...

From Autodesk’s site: “The BIGVIZ is an exploration in visualizing the Big Ideas presented on the TED mainstage. Two visual cartographers, David Sibbet and Kevin Richards, created over 700 spontaneous sketches of the presenters’ ideas using Autodesk Sketchbook Pro software running on Wacom Cintiq tablets and rendered on a Perceptive Pixel multi-touch display. These tools illustrate the power of interactive visualization to present the big picture to foster insight and communicate ideas visually, central principles of design innovation. We???ve compiled these sketches into an interactive pdf book and video that strives to capture the spirit of the TED Big Ideas.”

Ok, not me, “Ben” at Slash Dot Dash, but it’s rad. Still though, wondering why the company just doesn’t offer a die-cut sticker/skin instead of an insert that requires you to open up the MBP. I’ve opened up a Mac laptop once before, and I’ll never do it again.
