It was rumored, but the rumors appear to be true. Google’s GTalk will support interoperability with AIM. As I’ve said, I’ve been willing to give GTalk a try, but its lack of compatibility with AIM (which is where most of my ‘buddies’ live), kept me using Miranda, and now Meebo. Looks like I’ll be giving GTalk a spin in the near future.
